Personal identification information (Name, email address, phone number, etc., photo (optional))
Company affiliation
Work hours

How do we collect your data?

You directly provide Shiftleft with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:

Register online
Use the Shiftleft software functionality

How will we use your data?

Shiftleft collects your data so that we can:

Manage your use of the system functionality
Send you notifications both within the app/website and (if you are using it) the supporting app

Shiftleft and Shiftleft do not share any of your data with third parties. We despise systems that exploit your private data and will do all we can to ensure we do not enable or support other companies in doing this.

How do we store your data?

Shiftleft uses Google Firebase to host your data. All data is encrypted and backed up via the Firebase platform. Shiftleft will keep your project data for as long as you are a registered/active user of the system. Once the organisation has been dormant for one year (no logins or database I/O) we will contact you and remove it from active use or destroy the data, whichever is your preference.

Marketing

Shiftleft will not send you marketing crap. Our CEO may send you a Holiday/New Year greeting but that will be about it.

What are your data protection rights?

Shiftleft would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

The right to access – You have the right to request Shiftleft for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service.
The right to rectification – You have the right to request that Shiftleft correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Shiftleft to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
The right to erasure – You have the right to request that Shiftleft erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to restrict processing – You have the right to request that Shiftleft restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to object to processing – You have the right to object to Shiftleft’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
The right to data portability – You have the right to request that Shiftleft transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
